Vinyl cutouts are designed to be used indoors on smooth painted walls. They can be moved several times and will not harm the wall. I have used them on 'textured' walls without problems but can't guarantee that on every wall. Phototex cutouts are for indoor or outdoor use. They will adhear to nearly any surface and can be moved over and over again. They are also UV, weather and chemical resistant. I have 2 of them on the outside of my truck's back window and have not had any trouble. They will work great on car haulers and vehicle alike.
